Some obvious ones:

5 + 3 == 5.  IE a piece ahead with no pawns and it is a draw.

3 == 0.  IE a piece is not enough to win unless you have pawns so that
the piece can be used to win some of them.

The piece ahead not being enough is a critical one or you will get swindled into
many drawn endings you were winning.
