What i think would be interesting is to take a certain amount of games like
1st thru whatever and go down the line how fritz5 did against its opponents in
in
the begining of the games, to see if there was alot more losses there
compaired to the latter halve then maybe figure out a rating for yourself based
on these games or any other program with a built in learning feature.
I understand what your looking for, you want a program that plays strong right
off. In a tournament you get 1 shot at it, so why not play a program, that plays
fierce the 1st time out! With me i dont want to wait to see a program get
stronger with a learning feature (of course i like it though) But i find its
hard to keep playing your hardest against a program over too many games, you get
tired (atleast i do) and now the learning is kicking in (possibly)or maybe
fatigue :) and you just dont want to play anymore with that program for a while.
