MMX is a math co-processor which is built onto your CPU in your computer, that
is assuming your computer is less than five years old ( and has parity with
pentium 2  or better.)
If your computer is does not support the MMX instruction set fritz 8 actually
installs the fritz 6 engine to run on your machine, because that is the last
engine without these math routines, which are normally used for graphics.
