Exactly. It's the bane of being human - we each have to learn for ourselves, and
sometimes it has to be learned "the hard way".

Well, perhaps December 6, 1941! :) We were at war LONG before D-Day.

It would have been oh so good if an internal coup would have gotten rid of
Saddam, but so many times you just swap one bad dictator for another.

In this case, Saddam was too good and too strong for anyone to kick him out,
anyway, and UN sanctions were just a hardship on the Iraqi people - and a joke
to Saddam.

Now let's not be hasty! Just give them 40 teams and 200 years, and I'm sure
they'd find SOMETHING! :)

Moving to Switzerland does start to sound attractive, but seriously, we're in a
"bring it on" mode over here. All terrorists can take a ticket for faster
service to hell, and the more they attack us, the more united we have become.

The real pity is that because the terrorists are perceived as muslims and arabs,
and because of the huge drain on resources, other large problems that should be
handled (like the Palestinian - Israeli problem), get put off, further and
further.
