Easy to resort to wise cracks when you have no idea what you are talking about.
Had
you read _carefully_ you would have noticed that when I did the two thread test
on
two other machines, the NPS values were very close to double.  _only_ on my dual
xeon
is it 1.5.  That makes it unlikely that it is software, even though I know this
particular code
has been working correctly for 5 years.
