Thanks for confirming this... my point of creating a weak personality was to
isolate the problem.  Obviously, if the engine is playing weak, I know I got the
settings to work instead of the "default" settings.  I believe that for whatever
reason, the engine is not getting the parms, or they are getting sent
incorrectly (possibly a syntax error in the eng file) causing the engine to
ignore them, thus going to default values.

My goal is to use SKR and the others, but all of those are very strong so it is
not so readily apparent the settings are set properly vs. default.

That's also why I tried removing everything from the text file and tried to set
everything with no configurable options.  This did work.  So this tells me that
the paths are OK, the engine is ok and capable of the settings, they just don't
get set properly via the [Extras], etc.
