Ikarus (V0.31) does quite well on this one, I don't know about the performance of older versions (I did not check V0.18, for example). Here is the output on my slow computer (K6/2, 475 MHz, 8 MB Hash, 5-man-TBs): 8 0 +1.21 1. Bxc5+ Rxc5 2. Rb7+ Kf6 3. Rxa7 h5 4. gxh5 e4 5. a5 Rxf5 8 0 +1.34 1. Rb7+ Kf6 2. Rc7 Rxg4 3. Bxc5 Rxa4 4. Kg2 So it plays the correct move after 1 second, has the correct PV after 3 seconds, and shows a "reasonable" score after 109 seconds. In ply 17 (after ~30 minutes), black gives away the exchange to avoid worse, but that seems like resigning. Best regards, Munjong.
