This is a case where the SSDF should accept outside assistance from an owner who
has bought the Diamond. If Saitek does not send SSDF one for testing (their
decision) and SSDF does not test it due to cost, then the SSDF ratings are just
not so credible.

In order to maintain credibility, SSDF should use the internet and take
certified statements from the individuals who operate the Diamond and let that
be it. Other owners could later verify the moves and validate the data. The SSDF
is not the only ones capable of playing valid rated chess games between two
computers. It all comes down to a question of credibility.
