I just had one of the bigger Mephisto Munich boards upgraded and the round trip
postage/insurance alone was over $100 from the US to Germany, plus the hassle of
filling out customs declaration forms and the 6-8 week wait for service. So I'd
also recommend taking a look inside the board first.

If you're interested, the address of Mephisto is:

Mephisto
Service Schachcomputer
Landsberger Str.400
81241 Munchen
Germany

I would recommend first that you contact the people at Schach Niggemann. They're
a German dealer for Mephisto and other chess computers and I'm sure they can
give you some good advice. You'll find them at www.niggemann.com.

Good luck,
Frank
