Last I read it was going for at least $1500 if not more. One could easily purchase a full desktop or laptop with a top program and the DGT autosensory board (a beautiful board BTW - having worked with it recently) for that much and have a MUCH stronger chess opponent with far more possibilities as you'd have a full computer for the deal. Furthermore one would have all the opponents one could want. Albert
