When interviewed by Fernando Villegas, Christophe Theron, author of Chess Tiger, said about his program: ,,...anyway almost nobody can defeat Tiger in the middle game'' This quotation is, according to the many games I played with CT 11.4 and 11.5, certainly not an exaggeration. It seems, however, that we've finally found a candidate who can stomp Tiger already in the early middle game. Take a look at these two matches against Rebel 10.0 EOC (i.e. EOC-use was set to "strong"). Rebel already had a decisive advantage after some 20-24 moves. As a side note: I know at least one person who will joyfully shout "Rebel is a GM" now. ;-)))))))) For more R10 games, check the Single Matches section at http://come.to/SCCS. These include two draws at 30/game both against Crafty (good job, Bob!) and Junior 5 and one draw against MChess 8 at 60/game.
