Of course there would be complains, even much more and louder than the complains
are now. IMO this would also be a much better reason to complain than there is
now. You wouldn't read anything else in 1.000 postings in CCC, for weeks!!

Be realistic, if *you* had payed 100 $ for something, and a lot of people would
get more or less the same the next day, for half the price: You would not
complain? Come on...

It's obvious that ChessBase can't do this IMO.

(But realism isn't a strong point on message boards on the internet; I'm aware
of it...)

P.S.: Btw. I had a similar experience when I bought an older program for the
full price, only to discover a few days later that the very same program was
sold under another name already, for a much smaller price. Nobody had told me
about it. That is no fun at all. It made no sense to complain from a "legal"
viewpoint in that case, though... but it's something you keep in mind then. It
feels like being cheated.
