Technically yes, but considering the percentage of 64bit desktop machines currently in use by the average Joe it's not even a very big lie - for a marketing department of course. :) >They o some deceptive stuff with SPEC benchmarking numbers. I definitely hope they speak with the SPEC-people finally so we get official numbers. In the meanwhile, places like ARS Technica are prolly the best places to look reasonable information regarding speed etc. (the tests from Apple are obviously pretty useless - as are nearly all tests conducted by other marketing departments) > While it is certainly a neat machine that I would like to have. If I wouldn't buy anything from companies because I don't like their marketing, I'd have a problem. :) I will wait until the machines (and the new OS) are available (in Europe), see some tests and then maybe get one. (waiting for the 1st revision of the board is maybe also a good idea) What I dislike more than their marketing is the fact that it's proprietary HW. But at least it's an alternative for some users... choice is usually a good thing. Sargon
