Do you really consider that the price to sell engine+gui is fair? How can you tell that? Do you have their costs structure/breakdown? I guess their marketing but mainly their security matters are too expensive and avoidable if they sold the dowbloadable engines for 5 or 10 dls; they could not only even sell more frequent updates and patches for 5 dls each, but also selling the beta versions they could get greater statistical critical masses. Why do you suppose they dont earn enough money? Ask them if they work for these projects on full time basis, how they live, what theis life standards are , and who their sponsors are, so u would have the whole "picture' .....
