For strength,ease of use, and the best bang for your buck, in that sense I
concur, that Chessmaster 9000 is the best all round programme.
More people buy it as they either don't know about the Professional Software,
or don't need it.

IMHO I believe Fritz is the strongest programme, at least in blitz...it beat
Junior, Shredder, and Tiger in 100 game engine matches each, that I ran on my
computer, and it was the _clear_ winner.

I can't be certain at longer T/Cs?

Fritz 8 has a wonderful GUI, better than Chessmater or ChessPartner.

I would think it would take a Deep chess programme on two processors to defeat
Fritz 8, on a single, no I don't think so.

But I digress, yes by your standards the "King" is "King"!
