This was my also my assumption before reading the
following posts
http://www.talkchess.com/forums/1/message.html?304764
http://www.talkchess.com/forums/1/message.html?304955

I gave only the second one in my original post but the
first make it more clear that Junior8 not only used 2 threads but the number of
nps of Junior8 was almost the same as Deep Junior8 with 2 threads on the same
hardware.

What is the explanation for it if Junior8 cannot use more than one processor?
The only explanation that I can think about is if the program that has the name
Junior8 under chessbase is not Junior8 but Deep Junior8.

Is there another logical explanation?

Uri
