It is any path. Other chess programs prefere 64 bits more often than 32? ....but my friend Tomasz Michniewski (author of Tytan 2) use also 32 bit TT and his program find solution in this position very quickly. >Are you hashing with only 32 bits instead of 64 with > >unsigned long glob_troper;// hash_code for current position > >If so, there may be too many entries mapping to the same position >for the search to work well enough to find the solution.
