You are right that lower prices might be the right thing for the market. That is certainly the authors choice. My comments were based on the fact that the product was released three weeks ago. We who paid the double price and the dealers who are stuck with dissatified customers have been, so far, left with a "let the buyer and dealer beware" apparent statement. Products often are lowered in price but not immediately after release, when some of us who have waited for some time for the release have just received it. I would venture to guess that a large fraction of the copies sold so far are to prior users and that the price they paid for an upgrade is now the price of the new product. At this point those who were most loyal and have been the previous versions satisfied users are the ones who have been hurt most by this action. I expect that this inequity will be rectified and that the reason for the suprise announcement is to make sure that no too many copies get out before the problem is fixed. Don Gerue
