While I do not think it's really a good idea to do this, I don't think it will
have quite such a bad affect.  There are lots of people who simply can't afford
>$100 for a chess program (or any program, for that matter), but they will
sometimes have $50 or $60 to spend on one.  I am more than twice as likely to
have $50 or $60 at any given time than $100, and so would be just as much more
likely to buy something like Rebel now that it's price is lower.  If enough
people think the same thing, this price cut probably won't hurt a great deal.
