I wish I could try some of those faster, smaller cartridges. I only own 7.62x39 and 7.62x54R rifles at the moment.. I hear you on the crows & tomatos.. ever fire on prairie dogs? I emailed'em and he said to achieve results like that you'd need a 3000+ fps round thats extremely frangible. Can't quite do that with my 7.62x54R (loaded hot as hell it'll hit ~3050fps w/ 150 grain FMJ, and split the casing neck) but couldn't find any frangible ammo. Perhaps a sabot will do better?
