I bought CM5500 recently for about $45. I could have bought it mail order for half of that, but I would rather have service if I need to take it back. If they cut the cost to $1.00 tomorrow, I would see no reason to be upset. Less than $100 for a program that made Anand strain? ANAND, for crying out loud. If the price stayed at $99 for one year would you be happy? If so, you are objecting to other people saving money. Did you have value for your money? Absolutely. Whether the move was wise or not, time will tell. And I do understand the emotional reaction. My mother once bought an expensive coat which went on sale for half price the next day. She was outraged. But <somebody> always buys something the day before it goes on sale. Think about it.
