I'll have to admit I haven't looked at UCI since Stefan posted his draft some years ago. Dieter posted some experiences (message 311671) that I do not understand completely, but it looks like there is potential. However, there will always be things that can not be done within an existing protocol. These will require work-arounds or extensions. In that regard UCI and XB/WB are more or less equal. ... Johan
