This IS excellent news. Now would be a great time for owners of CM6000 to submit
any errors or bugs found. Unfortunately, this suggests that Mindscape intended
to use the consumers as beta testers. But, the best news is that they intend to
rectify the problems, and to do it soon. CM6000 is not the only video game to be
released early, especially this time of year. Every year, just before Christmas,
there are many games released that are buggy, with some just plain terrible.
Most of these buggy releases never get patched or consumers are forced to wait
so long, that they throw the investment on the shelf and forget about it. How
convenient for the video game market. I am pleased that Mindscape cares enough
about the Chessmaster products that they are taking quick action to back up
thier early release.
