a)Great GUI, wonderfull boards, you really can play with them. b)Engine by Kittinger strong enough to kill almost anywone here, but just as any other top program does anyway. The difference: a more "coruscated" style, I do not find a better word to define it. You will feel it at once compared to any other top engine. But of course this is a very subjetive judgement. c)Search lot less deep than any of the Chessbase family. It takes time to get 12-14 plys. My PC is an Athlon running at 1400 or so Mhz d) not so fast seach speed as competence. Around 200 Knodes/second in middle game. I would say as an explanation that the engine has lot more knowledge than average and/or has a somewhat old fashion search inclined to full width in some plys. e) nothing specially great or bad to say about openings e) Very flexible or curious or extreme way of handling the time. It can expend easily 15-20 minutes in some positions, then 4-10 seconds in another. These partial observations are the product of three games at 40 in 60 minutes. All victories for the beast, but not crushing at all. All in all I am happy: lot less features than average Chessbase products, but pretty graphic -important to me- and clearly different style of playing. What else you can ask? Fernando
