Hi, As you might have noticed I have closed temporarily the search engine during the last weeks. This is because it was consumming too much of my bandwidth while my connection has a limited amount of bandwidth allocated each month. Right now I am looking for solutions on puting the search engine back online. One solution would be to host it on other computer, I have asked in the past in this group for help regarding this matter but got no reply. So this seems to be not an option. Another solution would be to ask for donations. And another solution would be to make the search engine based on a monthly fee (around $5/month/user is my best approximation to cover my costs). I know the later idea is very bad and it will make many people hate me and I don't really want to put it in practice. So I think I will setup a way in which donations can be made and see what goes on during 1-2 months. If enough money are gathered to keep my bandwidth costs low I will keep the engine free of charge until the donation money runs out. Otherwise I will have to chose between making it subscription based or close it down permanently, both options beeing equally bad for most of the users on this list. Perhaps I have been pessimistic and there is here a soul that would offer to host the search engine ? Please voice your opinions on this subject here. I thought to bring this matter into public debate before making any decisions. Thanks, Andrei
