First thing: the spam filters of http://freemail.web.de/ are very effective, under my older email address I got daily 20-40 spams, now 2-4 but mostly not from web.de Second thing: Never use Outlook and/or Outlook Express I work with GeMail 2000 http://www.gemail.de/ a most comfortable email client that does a lot with respect to security.
