The Chessmaster 5000 "test" games were very inadequate to say the least!
If you look at its testing it played only 3games against rebel8!
score 0.5 to 2.5 for Rebel8 next is Hiarcs4 9-11 for hiarcs, then Mchess4
11.5-8.5 for chessmaster 5000,next fritz4 10.5-9.5 for chessmaster5000.
what happened to another 17games with rebel8? Did they go into the ini file and
adjust Hash tables? Did they play it in tournament mode or default settings?
I have a feeling if they tested it more we could easily see a big gain in its
rating. It is playing Quite well in other tournys,true? I don't know how strong
it is,But the ssdf list is NOT a proper refection of its true strength.
