eric halsworthy books (hiarcs book cooker)are filled with opening novelties and innovations. I have not tried h9 yet but i am pretty sure that the other engines were using tournament books that are tuned to compete with other comp engines-- not to entertain the purchaser. remember last yeatr with h8- the tournament book was an additional download! So if h9 is out-of-book on move 9 in this tourney and scores poorer without books being identified ( did they use remis?? at CSS) my suspicions about the dispositions of the games, rather than thier quality should be raised.
