Ouch! Thanks for that critical piece of info. I've always treated Virtual PC as "maybe someday" rather than a reality because I've always had a real PC that was faster. I guess that will continue. Using a KVM to switch (as I do) is not as convenient as having the other platform running in a window, but it works...
