Not having a PocketPC - at the moment - I can't answer the first two questions.
However, there has been no problem with visibility of the board on any PDA I've
ever used, even those going back several years

(With mobile phones there might well start to be problems, especially as there
is currently much nervousness over the "excessive" size of 3G phones; however, a
PDA screen is easily 4 or 6 times the area and long may that continue :)
