Someone told me that the number they put on their new machines are what they are rated. I hear there will be a Champion 2280SL soon, which will rate at 2280. But I would go for one in the NOVAG line, I find them to be better a chess playing machines than the Radio Shack models, as I doubt the ratings the shack give their machines are accurate.
