also mike, what is the date of the friz8 gui you use? As I believe there were significant UCI gui enhancements in cb gui contemporaneously with the release of Deep Sjeng(for its use in fritz gui) and Deep Junior(gui moded)... If you are using an older gui version to enjoy discarded gui features and settings in fritz...it could be the prob.
