Black actually played 29...Nd7 (time control was 30 moves in 90 minutes, he had 15 seconds to play this, and 7 seconds to play his 30th move, where he blundered, allowing Rxe6) which is about the 4th best move, at 23 ply. Silman told my friend (who was about 1900 Canadian) that "you played far above your rating" at the post-mortem. I can fish up the whole gamescore if anyone is interested... Its interesting that we can't determine for certain that Black is equal. I think it is certain that 29...d3 30.Be4 d3 are forced, though White can choose from 31.Kf1 (strange but true!) 31.Qd2 31.Be3 and I'm in the process of figuring out which is best. Perhaps you'd like to start the analysis after 30...d3 Earlier in the game, Black sacked a Rook for a white N and d5 pawn. Later, Black exchanged B for Nf3, which apparently impressed Silman. Silman played this Benoni very quickly, I'm told, something like 15 seconds for his first 20 moves. Thanks in advance for any analysis!
