Nothing strange.

The solution include lines that the opponent needs to underpromote to a knight
to prevent a checkmate.

If you do not consider them then it is easy to see the right move.

Nc6+ Kb8 Na5+ Kb6 Bf2+ Kxa5 e8Q Nc7+ Kd6 Ne8+ Kc5 d2 Bd4 and now d1N is the only
way to prevent checkmate.
