Personally I find the GUI to be the least important part of a chess program.
I would prefer having a text-only 32bit version of Hiarcs 7 rather than a
16bit MS-DOS version with a GUI.  How about releasing a text-mode win32
version (a linux version would of course be even better :-)  on the same
CD-ROM as the DOS version?
