My reply:  from my Linux computer where a perfectly normal Linux version of
Ruffian is running... If you had followed the Arena Forum you would have been
able to see my Linux blitz rating list back in June or July with Ruffian placed
1st, ahead of Crafty, Yace, Deep Sjeng, etc., and with more than 200 games
played.

So much for your skepticism.  I said that you would be able to get a Linux
native version of Ruffian rather soon, perhaps as early as Christmas, and you
did not seem to have read that, or else, you did not believe what I said.
