i would also think that that is the single most important endgame. but no, it
simply hasn't come up over the last year for me. i did a short chessbase search:
of ~677'000 games in the mega-2003 database with an average elo > 2300 (of
course this restriction was not necessary - i wanted to exclude games of weaker
players because i thought chances to get to such an endgame were smaller there)
chessbase found 0.73% KRP-KR endgames. my last such endgame dates back to the
year 2000. since then i played a bit more than 100 tournament games - looks like
i'm about on the chessbase average :-)
