Here is a message I sent to sales@novag.com. I haven't heard from them yet, and figured I'd try this forum. I just obtained a Star Diamond and really like it so far. I was wondering if there is somewhere I could obtain more detailed information about the PC interface. I have tried to access your pdf file explaining the "Star Diamond to PC interface," and keep getting an error. I can read the HTML version, and that helps, but it seems like some things should be explained a little more. Here are some questions I have: How do I set up hyperterminal for use with the interface? I assume I just need to figure out which com port the serial port is using? Does the SD has to be powered off when connecting to the PC? Assuming the pro-op save command sends programmable opening books to the PC, how would one reload them into the SD? Also, I noticed that there are some technical specification disagreements between the description on your website and the owner's manual (processor, program size, book size, etc.) I'd appreciate it if you could either answer these questions or point me to the answers somewhere.
