If it was up to me he would have been banned 1000 times for one month each insulting remark. A public explanation is not necessary in my opinion. Only an explanation to Vincent is required. Is it so hard to act civil here? I'm sure he would not make some of his off color remarks in person because someone would have already put him on his ass. People feel anything goes on an internet BB because they feel safe at home. Insulting people over the internet has become normal behavior for some people. It's only one of the reasons I stopped playing chess at ICC. I'm happy to see a little "police" action for a change. Jim
