Yes, the entire game history can be included in a single EPD record.  The actual
opcode mnemonic is "hv" (meaning historical variation).  Compare with "pv"
(predicted variation).

The server can call games based on time forfeiture, position repetiton, etc.

Of cource, time usage can also be included in an EPD record (mnemonic: "'cc").
A new opcode "cclk" gives elapsed times like "cc", but in ddd:hh:mm:ss.cc
format; this supports timekeeping with centisecond resolution.
