Eugene has hit 7M+ on a quad opteron 1.8ghz machine. Running the most recent vesion of Crafty with the NUMA changes we have been working on. Not bad considering a dual 2.8 xeon runs around 2.4M nodes per second 2 X 2.8 = 5.6 4 X 1.8 = 7.2 7.2 / 5.6 = 1.29X faster in raw clock speed. 7.0M / 2.4M = 2.92X faster in raw NPS speed. Not half bad...
