Steven, >Yes. But not everyone has an ICC membership. They are not free. IIRC ICC gave a one week (month?) pass for any entrants of the CCT's so it was free. >It has been a long time (nine years?) since there has been an exclusively >North American event. It is intended, in part, as a prelude to physical North >American events. These will be an alternative to the European events that, >while certainly worthwhile, do little to stimulate CC activity in North >America. My recommedation would be to cut-to-the-chase and go straight for a long weekend physical tournament sometime in 2004. Being able to chat to everyone is surely 90% of the fun of attending one of these events. The Dutch International tournament in May seems like a good format - one long weekend, starting on the Friday morning and finishing at 3 pm on the Sunday. So will it we east coast, west coast or Chicago? My vote is for Philadelphia - good communications and cheaper than NY or Boston (...and I happen to live there... but that's an aside ;-)). Steve
