Suggestions:

1- Goto http://www.tim-mann.org/xboard.html and download xboard.
2- Read the docs, especially the multiGame (-mg) and saveGameFile (-sgf) options
.  Also, if on a single CPU system, you will want to turn off pondering
(-xponder).
3- For a deterministic engine, I suggest using the same engine but specify a
search depth (-depth) to limit the depth of thinking.
