Hello
I have used winboard for a lot of years now and everything is ok.
It's easy to link engines with it (about 120 now)on my Pc.
So i do not understand why Patrick Buchman makes severe critics about winboard.

According to him "it's very difficult to integrate a new engine ... Many people
who downloaded winboard use it only for gnuchess because they have not found yet
the way to link new engines ..."

It is quite easy for me, and I'm not a specialist in computers. Moreover, there
is a file called WBconf-19 from http://wbec-ridderkerk.nl/ for all the "stupid"
chess players.

Winboard is at least 10 years old and a reliable graphical interface thanks to
Tim Mann.
Arena is too young and still in beta version. I've noticed a stupid bug in
'sound' -> 'click' which has not been removed yet.

NO I'll stay in my bed for the next version or arena :)
