because there are other Computer and Engines outside. you are right: Man-Computer-Matches are like TV-soaps, because we live now at the time Computer get more and more equal to human players.I think only about 100-150 human player have chances against the Computers in serios matches and in 5 years maybe only the top 20 of the world. So now its a phantastic time for Man-Computer-Matches and both the professional chessplayers and the companies (eg. ChessBase) are using this time for their proposal - and this is OK! Hagra
