Possibly.  I usually don't pay much attention to the version numbers
of the engines, and it is entirely possible that the results I have
seen are for older versions.

But at least in the case of The King and Sjeng, the newest versions are
rather old, aren't they?

Definitely, yes.  Although I personally find weaker engines much more
enjoyable, I understand perfectly well that others want the strongest
possible engine.

I'm afraid I can't fly with you, because I'm a MacOS and Linux user!  :-)
But anyway, I am happy that my engine (from what I have heard) runs
flawlessly in Arena.  Hopefully my engine will soon also be able to play
FRC in Arena.
