Subject: Chessbase chess databases

What are the differences between the Chessbase Big Database and the Mega
Database? The Mega Database is $85 more than the Big Database. Is it worth the
extra money?

Also, the Chessbase site says that you need Chessbase or Fritz to use the
database. If I have Shredder (and thus have the Fritz interface), will I be able
to use the database, or will I need to purchase Chessbase or Fritz in addition
to the database?
