However, whether a program plays move X and Y has _nothing_ to do with whether that program is a clone or not. I can make a couple of very simple changes to Crafty and make it play _significantly_ different. Yes, but you can´t make it play 100-120 points stronger by doing this way. Your are changing and tuning your engines over many years never getting such an improvement. If Fritz did so he must be a genie... ;-)
