After thinking for 25 seconds, it had as its best line 1... Bd6 2.Rf7 Rxa6 3.Rd7 Bc5 4.Rd5 Rc6 5.g6 b4 6. Kg2 Kg7 7. Re5 Be7 and Black with a won game. Then I let Chessmaster think for another 20 minutes. It continued after 7... Be7, 8. Kf3 Kxf6 9.Ke4 Kf6 10.Rb5 Rxe6+ 11. Kd4 Re1 Then, just for fun, I let Chessmaster play against itself through the rest of the game. Here it is, and the b-pawn is never lost, nor does it promote until the mating move. 12. Rb6+ Kf5 13. Rb7 Kf4 14. Kd3 Re3+ 15. Kc2 Bd6 16. Rb6 Ke5 17. Kb1 Kd5 18. Kc2 Bc5 19. Rb7 Kc4 20. Rc7 b3+ 21. Kb2 Re2+ 22. Kc1 Kb4 23. Rc8 Rg2 24. Rh8 Be3+ 25. Kd1 b2 26. Rb8+ Kc4 27. Rb7 Kd3 28.
