I know, but I am fairly sure the explanation of Rebels' high speed is mainly to be found in clever tricks than in assembly language. Rebel would still be several times faster than my engine even if Ed translated it all to plain C. :-) By the way, are you still working on Fortress? It's a really cool engine, and I'd like to see a new version of it. Tord
